    Gymnastics is the "Basis Of All Sports" as well as the foundation of physical and 
    mental fitness. To help children develop motor skills in all ages and levels in a positive, 
    safe and caring environment. To help children develop strength, balance, agility, 
    coordination, flexibility and confidence. This leads not only to the improvement of 
    gymnastics but other sports and life.

            About 160 students and hundreds of spectators from McAllen,

    Brownsville, Pharr and Edinburg gathered together at Edinburg Jr. High on

    October 11.  The gymnasium was beautifully decorated with a fiesta theme. 

    The opening ceremonies for the 1st Fiesta Gymnastics began as students

   marched in and the National Anthem was played.
